Meet Caitlin
Warm, evidence-based therapy for children, teens, and families in Westchester, NY.
I believe children and teens do best when they feel understood, not rushed or reduced to a list of symptoms. My approach is warm, thoughtful, and tailored to the young person in front of me. Therapy is not one-size-fits-all, and I work to understand the full picture of what each child or teen is experiencing.
With over a decade of experience working with children, teens, and families, I provide therapy that is grounded in evidence-based approaches, including CBT, while remaining collaborative and responsive to each young person’s needs.

How I Work
My approach is both relational and practical. I help children and teens feel safe enough to open up, make sense of what they are experiencing, and build skills that support them in everyday life. Depending on their needs, therapy may focus on anxiety, emotional regulation, coping skills, school stress, or relationship challenges.
I also consider the larger context surrounding a child or teen’s struggles. When appropriate, I involve parents in thoughtful, developmentally appropriate ways so therapy can support not only insight and emotional growth, but also stronger support at home.
Background & Experience
Working with children, teens, and families is the focus of my practice.
Over the past decade, I have worked with children, teens, and families in a range of settings, including inpatient psychiatry and integrated primary care. These experiences have shaped the way I understand emotional health, family stress, and the many ways children and teens can struggle.
I received my bachelor’s degree from Boston College and my Master’s in Social Work from Columbia University. I am licensed in both New York and Connecticut, and my clinical background continues to inform the warm, thoughtful, and individualized care I provide in private practice.
