You may be here because
Your child may be feeling anxious, overwhelmed, easily frustrated, or not quite like themselves. Maybe you are seeing struggles at home, at school, or in everyday routines, and you want to better understand what is going on and how to help.
How Child Therapy Can Help
Child therapy can help children build skills, feel more understood, and navigate challenges with more confidence.
Manage anxiety and big feelings
Build coping and emotional regulation skills
Improve frustration tolerance
Strengthen confidence and self-esteem
Navigate school, peer, or family stress
What Child Therapy May Look Like
Child therapy often looks different from therapy for teens or adults. Depending on a child’s age and needs, sessions may include conversation, play, art, games, and other developmentally appropriate ways of helping them express themselves, build coping skills, and feel more understood.
Parent Involvement
Parent involvement is often an important part of child therapy. Depending on your child’s age, needs, and goals, I may work with parents alongside their child’s therapy to share observations, strengthen support at home, and help make sense of what is going on.
