Child & Teen Therapist in Westchester, NY
Meet Caitlin
Warm, thoughtful therapy that helps children and teens feel understood while building practical skills for everyday life.
I believe children and teens do best when they feel understood, not rushed or reduced to a list of symptoms. I take time to understand the young person in front of me, then use evidence-based approaches in ways that make sense for who they are and what they are struggling with.

How I Work
Relationship comes first
Practical and individualized
Context matters
Therapy may include insight, skill-building, problem-solving, and evidence-based strategies tailored to the young person.
I consider what is happening at home, at school, and within relationships, and involve parents thoughtfully when appropriate.
Children and teens need to feel safe, understood, and respected before meaningful work can happen.
Background & Experience
Experience that shapes my work
Over the past decade, I have worked with children, teens, and families across inpatient psychiatry, integrated primary care, and private practice. Working in very different settings taught me to look beyond a single symptom and pay attention to the child, the family, and what is happening around them.
That perspective still shapes how I work today. I draw from evidence-based treatment, but I also pay attention to development, relationships, and whether something will actually be useful outside of my office.
