Parent Support

Parent support can help you better understand what your child or teen may be experiencing, respond with more clarity and confidence, and feel less alone as you navigate challenges at home.

You May Be Here Because

You are constantly second-guessing how to respond

Parenting can feel especially difficult when the same situations keep escalating and the usual approaches no longer seem to help.

The same arguments or power struggles keep repeating

Your child’s emotions or behavior are affecting the whole household

You and your child feel less connected than you would like

You want practical guidance that makes sense for your child and family

How Parent Support Can Help

Together, we can look at what's concerning you and find practical ways to make difficult moments feel more manageable.

Make sense of what’s happening

Respond with more clarity

Feel more grounded as a parent

Explore what may be underneath your child’s reactions, how they may be experiencing the situation, and what they may need.

Think through how to communicate, set limits, and offer support in ways that fit your child and family.

Build confidence in your own judgment so you can make thoughtful decisions without feeling like you have to get every response exactly right.

What Parent Support May Look Like

Parent support gives us space to slow down what is happening, make sense of recurring patterns, and decide what may help. Depending on your family’s needs, we may focus on big reactions, anxiety, school stress, communication, family dynamics, or situations where strategies that used to work no longer seem to help.

There is not one set of parenting rules you are expected to follow. We look at what tends to happen, what may be making those moments harder, and what responses actually make sense for your child and family.

SPACE for Childhood & Teen Anxiety

For families dealing specifically with anxiety or avoidance, I also offer SPACE, an evidence-based parent treatment that helps parents change how they respond to anxiety while supporting greater confidence and independence over time.

Want to talk through what’s been feeling hard?

A free 20-minute consultation is a chance to share what has been going on, ask questions, and see whether working together feels like the right fit.
