Meet Caitlin
Warm, evidence-based therapy for children, teens, and families in Westchester, NY.
I believe children and teens do best when they feel understood, not rushed or reduced to a list of symptoms. My approach is warm, thoughtful, and tailored to the young person in front of me, with careful attention to how anxiety, low mood, school stress, executive functioning difficulties, and relationship challenges are shaping their daily life. Therapy is not one-size-fits-all, and I work carefully to understand the full picture of what each child or teen is experiencing.
With over a decade of experience working with children, teens, and families, I provide therapy that is grounded, collaborative, and responsive to each child or teen’s needs.

My Approach
My approach is both relational and practical. I work to help children and teens feel safe enough to open up, make sense of what they are experiencing, and build skills that support them in everyday life. Depending on the child or teen’s needs, therapy may focus on managing anxiety, improving emotional regulation, strengthening coping skills, navigating school stress, or working through relationship challenges.
I also think carefully about the larger context surrounding a child or teen’s struggles. When appropriate, I involve parents in thoughtful and developmentally appropriate ways so that therapy can support not only insight and emotional growth, but also more effective support at home.
Background & Experience
Over the past decade, I have worked with children, teens, and families in a variety of settings, including inpatient psychiatry and integrated primary care. Working with young people is not just one part of my work. It is the focus of my practice. These experiences have shaped the way I think about emotional health, family stress, and the many ways children and teens can struggle.
I received my bachelor’s degree from Boston College and my Master’s in Social Work from Columbia University. I am licensed in both New York and Connecticut, and my clinical background continues to inform the warm, thoughtful, and individualized care I provide in private practice.
